On this bright spring day along the North Wales coast, the waves were gently rolling in and folding over, hardly making any sound at all. I wanted to try and capture the peace and tranquility of these ephemeral moments by the shoreline, and that hazy distant light you find on hot days on the coast. Thick paint was applied generously to achieve the 'Hot' highlights on the incoming wave.
