Whilst staying on a friends narrowboat one winters night i spent some time with this tree under the light of the full moon. The tree seemed to have an otherworldly feel and looked more like a dancing creature than a tree. In the cold light of a frosty morning the tree was back to being a regular tree, but in the reflection on the water there were glimpses of the entity i had  seen during the night. 

This painting can also be viewed upside down (See below) and in Exhibitions it is hung on a rotating bracket allowing the viewer to rotate the painting
